Improving Bone Health and Detection of Osteoporosis

The lack of screening and education on osteoporosis is a significant problem in our health care system. International Osteoporosis Foundation reports fracture every 3 seconds accounting for 5500 fractures worldwide resulting more than 2 million the United States. This quality improvement project was designed to alert providers risk early development individuals who may not otherwise be screened primary setting educate factors contributing osteoporosis.
